Massoth Pulse Smoke Generators include a smoke generator, heating element, all cables and instructions.

Description:

The Pulse Smoke Generator for retrofitting your Steam and Diesel Locomotives, cabooses or buildings. This smoke generator may be retrofitted in most of the steam locomotives on the market.

For steam locomotives the smoke is synchronized by loco axle rotation via a Massoth 8242030 eMOTION Pulse Generator Set pulse generator or by a Massoth eMOTION Sound Decoders synch output. When used with a Massoth Sound Decoder the sound and steam chuffs are perfectly synchronized. Massoth sound decoders provide synch outputs when axle synch generators are not available.

The 19 unit barely consumes 0.2 (0.5 with 5V) Amps and produces a remarkable amount of smoke.

Diesel operation:

The smoke unit may be set to Diesel operation by a DIP switch setting.

Two versions of smoke generator are available:
5Volts and 19Volts.

The standard version (19Volts) suites the Massoth eMOTION decoders (including LGB®). The current draw is only 0.2 Amps.

In case your decoder does not provide a suitable powerful output, the 19Volt version is recommended.

High performance pulsed smoke generator 19V

The high performance pulsed smoke generator (19V) provides the programmable SUSI-Interface. The high performance heating element is already built-in.
