The patented Massoth Rolling Road System features a custom-made guiding wheel technology that guarantees the best running characteristics for all locomotives. Carbon dust originating from a locomotives carbon pickup brushes or the burn off of ambient dust as carbon deposits/dust can be removed easily from the stainless steel guiding wheels.

The Rolling Road G-Scale consists of:

• Two axle supports with four roller bering supported guide wheels
• One contact support for two power pickup shoes

The patented roller pin bearings are not like other products that use ball bearings. The roller bearings distribute the load over a much larger area to provide less friction, less noise and over 100 times the life of other products. In addition they are less susceptible to damage by contamination as products that use ball bearings.

The set comes with three supports for two axles and one set of pickup shoes. The roller bearings are very insensitive to dust. You can easily lubricated them with a dab of light machine oil.

The set comes packaged in protective foam with instructions in English and German. All components and parts of the set are made in Germany with precision engineering and machining.

Die perfekte Präsentationsmöglichkeit für Ihre Spur G oder Spur 1 Lokomotive in der Auslage oder in der Sammlervitrine. Durch seine robuste und verschleissfreie Konstruktion ist er auch besonders für Reparatur- und Testzwecke in der Modellbahnwerkstatt zu empfehlen. Er eignet sich für den Digital- als auch Analogbetrieb.
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein umfassende Neuentwicklung des bereits bekannten Rollprüfstands für Spur G, dessen Konstruktion auf blau-transparenten Kunststoffspritzteilen aufbaut. Konstruktion, Formenbau und Fertigung aller Komponenten findet ausschließlich in Deutschland statt.  

Dieser patentrechtlich geschützte Rollprüfstand ist nicht wie üblich durch Kugellager aufgebaut, sondern mit sogenannten Gleitlagerrollen realisiert.
Der besondere Vorteil: Der entstehende Kohleabrieb beschädigt die Kugellager nicht. Im Betrieb eines herkömmlichen Rollprüfstands mit Kugellager entsteht an der Innenseite der Räder ein Kohleabrieb, der als herabfallender Kohlenstaub die Kugellager verschmutzt und unter Umständen die Kugellager sogar beschädigt. Dies geschieht mit dem Präzisions-Gleitlager aus hochwertigem Edelstahl nicht. Diese sind völlig unempfindlich und können durch kurzes Schwenken in einer Reinungungsflüssigkeit schnell von angesammelten Kohlestaub befreit werden. Anschließend sollte das Gleitlager kurz mit einem Tropfen Öl benetzt werden.
Das geringe Gewicht der einzelnen Komponenten bietet höchste Flexibilität. Die Rollprüfstände können überall, sowohl auf einer Gerade als auch in einer Kurve, auf dem Gleis positioniert werden.
Besonders erwähnenswert ist auch die 3°-schräge Lauffläche der Gleitlager nach Standard der NEM (Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen). Durch Ihre einzigartige Form bieten die Gleitlagerrollen optimale Laufeigenschaften und Stromaufnahme (Schleiferbock) bei minimalen Abbrandeigenschaften.
