MTS/DCC Digital Sound, Motor and Lighting:

This Loco has a Massoth LGB Factory Installed MTS/DCC decoder and a Massoth Digital Sound board LGB Factory Installed. Sounds can be triggered by track magnets, 12 SL-TMU-1705 sound activation magnets included with this loco, or by remote control via an MTS or DCC throttle and central station. Sounds work on DC (analog) or MTS/DCC power and feature a power buffer so sounds continue on DC (analog) power even after the loco has stopped (no track power).

In addition the Chuff sounds are synchronized to the wheel rotation for prototypical sounds of 2 chuffs per axle rotation matching the exit release of steam for each steam cylinder. The digital standing sounds automatically play as the loco starts, accelerates, runs, decelerates, breaks and stops.
