The set has never been run or displayed.
Number "1" locos were produced in Germany prior to 1986 - Gold #1, LGB and gold window frames. The steam engine features a large working directional headlight.
The Engineer and his cab feature interior details and a working directional working rear light with red lens.
Engine is marked with white "Letzte HV.26.6.75" engine number and features power plugs for car lighting on the rear of the engine to the right of the rear light which is powered when the loco is running in reverse.

Engine type 2010 featuring 4 drive wheels, connector rods, two 'shoes' providing a total of 6 point power pickup form the track.
"Made in Western Germany" by LEHMANN are embossed in the bottom of the loco. Locomotive shoes indicate 'zero' wear indicating this locomotive has never been run on a track, but was tested on the beach and it works same as the day it left the factory over 20 years ago and should run for another 200 years before Servicing.
The set includes a new, never run, 4033 "Chiquita" covered goods wagon with sliding doors on booth sides. Lights may be added to the roof on the inside if desired. Visit our eBay store at the link on the bottom of this page for lighting options.
Here you can see the covered platform on the end of the car with brake hand lever and breakman on the platform. The conductor is checking for anyone riding for 'free'. The car also features spoked wheels and like all LGB items, is weather proof and can be used indoors or outside in the garden in sun, rain or snow.
Included is a new LGB Ow 4021 high sided open gondola with spoked wheels and two locking gates on each side of the car. The car is highly detailed and built for play although this one has never been used. Made in Western Germany..

The set comes with a new box of LGB 11000 track (12 pieces shown below) to make a complete circle of solid brass track. This track is so strong that LGB shows an elephant standing on it with no harm to the track!
This is an extremely rare item and very hard to find at any price in this new condition. Comes with all original paperwork and track ties connectors (shown in plastic wrapper with each tie still attached to the tree.
