  4. Connect two track contacts to open and close a switch motor as the train passes each contact. Power is provides by a Shourt Line SL-PS-16AC40 16 VAC 40 Watt Transformer and connected to one pole of the motor and both center connector of the track connector (shown in blue below)
2 SL TC 17100 wired to transformer and track motor

  5. The right contact of one track contact (the negative output - black wire) and the left contact of the other switch contact (the positive output - red wire) are both connected to the unused pole of the switch motor (shown below). Indoor or outdoor use - water proof sensor..

Massoth Switch Decoder ME 8156001

Description:

The new MASSOTH Motor-/Switch decoder gives you the ability to have total control and endless possibilities. The DiMAX Motor-/Switch decoder is an all purpose special function decoder.

Up to 6 additional function outputs either by digital signal or by triggered switch, allowing individual positioning. E.g. You may digitalize your crane car with the DiMAX Operator Decoder and operate the boom horizontally or vertically and control the bucket or the hoisting winch.. the possibilities are endless.

Operate up to 8 outputs or 3 motors or switch actuators of any type digital signal or by triggered switch, allowing layout automation with or without DCC equipment. You can operate the three motor axis of your crane car with the DiMAX Operator Decoder to operate the boom horizontally or vertically and control the bucket or the hoisting winch.. the possibilities are endless.

Simple programming via CV programming features, as well as POM (programming on main track)

The DiMAX Motor-/Switch decoder is able to operate any kind of solenoid driven switch (2 and 3 wire) as well as switches that are driven by an electric motor. The DiMAX Operator Decoder features 6 programmable function inputs which are able to operate function outputs by a triggered switch. This allows you to operate a switch or any other component by a push button in the interlocking machine or by a track contact, triggered by loco magnet.
