The loco features 2 directional head lamps and an SL Micro LED controller and Tiffany LED interior fixture. The box car features a 200 LED Controller, Buffer, 1 exterior porch Tiffany LED fixture and a 4 LED Tiffany interior fixture, and a 3 watt bluetooth battery powered Hifi speaker system with track powered charger for continuous operation.
Directional Lighting: The loco features directional front and rear headlamps. The rear of the cab has a track power outlet for and LED controller powering 12 LED Tiffany Opal lamps located in the loco, box car, and passenger car. A 3 amp SL LED controller is located in the box car that also has USB charger port for the bluetooth 3 watt HiFi wireless speaker in the box car. A Key Fob size Bluetooth Wireless player in included with beer music on a free flash card that fits into the player.
Bluetooth Wireless speaker: The box car has a 3W sound system for beer hall hall music, sound effects or use as a PA system from your phone, tablet or the included key fob size Micro Flash Card Player that comes with the set.

This LGB 020087 Limited Edition beer train with 12 Shourt Line Tiffany lamps and a 3 watt Bluetooth wireless sound system and key fob size battery operated bluetooth player.
Professional installation of wiring, lighting and sound system ensures the value of the set. No holes or alteration has been made to the set in any way. Lighting and sound system were installed using removable 3M exterior high temperature double sided mounting tape that is removable without damage to the finish. The set is in new museum quality and is collectable. The set was made in 1987 in Western Germany.

Options:
DCC operation without a loco DCC decoder:
The set can run on DCC systems using the analog setting found on the LGB, PIKO, and Massoth DCC/MTS systems. However, when using this option for running trains without a decoder you will notice a little hum coming from G Scale locomotives. To eliminate this and also to add sound to your locos we recommend adding a DCC decoder. This will add all the benefits of DCC to your train such as lights working when the loco is not moving. The photos shown here were taken with DCC power so the lights can be shown without running the train as required for analog power.
DCC Decoder:
We recommend adding an ESU Loksound 5.0 XL Decoder for running on DCC power. We can do the installation for you on request. The advantages are Loco sounds and full control of lighting and no motor hum! The loco can also be run on analog power with a decoder installed.
Track power pickup for the box car or to each car:
To eliminate wiring between locos and the box car and/or car to car wires we recommend adding power pickup to each car where you want to eliminate car to car wiring between cars. We offer power pickups for LGB and PIKO metal wheels as well as ball bearing power pickup wheel sets. This requires an LED controller for each car with lighting. It has the advantage of using the car in any order on any locomotive just like real trains.

Ready to run: Works on analog or DCC power for lighting the 12 LED lamps and powering and charging the 3W HiFi wireless blue tooth speaker sound system.
New never run LGB Steam Loco features metal running rods, 6 power pickup points for reliable operation and 4 wheel drive and 1 traction tire for maximum pulling power.
The loco has an SL 8453102 Micro Size LED controller mounted in the loco's water box for controlling an SL 8291230 LED Opal Fixture Lamp mounted in the cab interior.
Note the power sockets on the rear of the loco cab that output track power. The SL 4128510 LGB round gold plated mini-banana power plugs wired to the front of the box car plug into these sockets for powering the SL 8453003 LED controller and the SL 8461521 Micro Size USB 5V port connected to the SL Bluetooth wireless 3W Speaker Sound System.
The LGB beer train's Dortmunder Ritter First beer box car features detailed color graphics, 2 working side doors with latches. Upgrades include 1 ea SL 1 LED Tiffany fixture, 1 ea 4 LED Tiffany fixture, SL LED controller, USB power controller, SL Power Buffer, SL Bluetooth wireless 3W Speaker Sound System, SL LGB gold power plugs and SL LED female connector wired with SL micro black cable.

Note that no holes or permanent modifications were made to the LGB Beer Set in order to preserve it value as a limited edition set. The top view shows the power plugs connected to rear loco power sockets at the top of the photo. On the inside front wall of the cab from left to right are the SL LED terminal block, SL LED controller, and SL USB port. Below the USB port is the SL voltage buffer and below that is the SL Bluetooth wireless 3W Speaker Sound System. Note on the left and right side of the speaker are SL peel and sick speaker mounts for holding the speaker in place, speaker lifts up to remove from car.

Passenger Car bottom view - note the two holes along the bottom center line either side of the center of the car, these are for attaching accessories such as the SL Brakeman's Box for holding LED controls or DCC decoder for lighting and control options.

The rear of the box car has an SL LED female power plug wired to a power cable running down the outside of the car as see above. The front of the passenger car has an SL LED male power connector for powering the passenger car lighting.
Close up of the SL LED power connectors between cars. Note that the white dots line up for correct polarity, in the case of backward polarity there is no harm done as the lights will simply not light up. The SL LED controllers are also immune to short circuits.

The rear of the passenger car features an SL LED female power connector for powering up to 186 LEDs in following cars or adding a holiday wreath with animated LED lighting.
A brakeman's platform at the front of the tank car has a brake lever for locking the brakes.
