This set combines; one 24V 12.5A 300VA SL-PS300-1-27 supply, two 6A 24V SL-TLC1cv throttles, two SL-CB7 Circuit Breakers (for throttle/train protection) with 8 ea. crimp on connectors for solderless connection, and an SL-AC-10SW 10' power cord w/On/Off Switch and grounded plug,
The set outputs over 12 times the power of LGB's 1 amp toy power pack. The 24 volt output is safe for all G scale trains, as it can be adjusted from 18 to 27 volts, while providing continuous power that outperforms 15 amp toy power transformer-throttles made by other manufacturers.
The set has automatic circuit breakers that turn off the power to the throttle and trains when the amperage exceeds 6.75 amps. Power is easily reset by pushing the switch back to the on position. .This set will easily run 8 trains with interior lighting. The power supply is regulated and outputs 24 volts at 12.5 amps with automatic short circuit protection and automatic power restoration when the fault is removed. The two throttles have very smooth throttle response and feature an emergency stop by pushing the throttle speed control in. Set-up is easily done by connecting the power supply to each of the two circuit breakers and the circuit breakers to each of the two throttles and the track. A 10' AC power cord with switch is supplied but cable is supplied by the user. A wiring diagram is included with the kit.
SL-PS300-1-27: regulated switching power supply outputs 24 volts at 8.3 amps 200 watts and has a terminal strip for easy connection to the SL-TLC1 throttle. SL-AC-10SW a 10 foot 115VAC grounded cable with switch and grounded plug is provided for connecting to house power. The output voltage can be adjusted from 18.4 to 27.4 Volts DC from the front panel control. A plastic guard protects user from voltages.
SL-CB-7 Circuit Breakers and 8 each crimp-on connectors for fast & easy solderless installation. Protects both throttle and trains if current is greater than 6.75 amps due to short circuits as well as providing a convenient way to control the power to each throttle. Each circuit breaker is typically mounted near the power supply and connected to the throttle via two conductor wire (zip cord works great).
SL-TLC1: The SL-TLC1cv Throttle has a mini-terminal strip for connecting the SL-PS300-1-27 power supply. Cooling is provided by a voltage stabilized, bushless fan for reliable operation. The throttle employs a 15 amp output stage but is conservatively rated at 6 amps continuous output. This unit is both a table-top and a hand held throttle.
The picture above shows the SL-CB-7 circuit breaker (2 come with the set) & throttle (two come with the set) in the tabletop configuration with input/output connectors on top. The connectors can be placed on the bottom in less than two minutes by removing the faceplate and rotating the case 180 degrees as shown below.
In this configuration the unit is ideal for a palm held or walk around throttle with the input/output connectors coming out the bottom.
The throttle features a large forward/reverse switch and a quick response throttle. An exclusive emergency stop feature turns off all power output by simply pushing down on the throttle. Pulling the throttle out restores power
