The set combines one 24V 8.3A 200Watt (VA) SL-PS200-1-27F power supply with auto speed fan & 10' power cord w/On/Off Switch, one 8A 24V SL-TLC8F throttle w/ 10' DC power cable and and one LGB 50160 Track Power Cable with easy clips.

The set outputs over 8 times the power of LGB's 1 amp toy power pack. The 24 volt output is safe for all G scale trains, as it can be adjusted from 19.4 to 27.4 volts, while providing continuous power that outperforms 10 amp toy power transformer-throttles made by other manufacturers.

The set has automatic fault detection and power restoration when the fault is removed. This set will easily run six trains with interior lighting. The power supply is regulated and outputs 24 volts at 8.3 amps with very smooth throttle response. Set-up is very easy as the power supply and throttle connect using the supplied 10' cable and the track clips are easily attached to your track without any tools.

SL-PS200-1-27: SL-PS200-1-27F regulated switching power supply outputs 24 volts at 8.3 amps 200 watts and has a terminal strip for easy connection to the SL-TLC8F throttle. A 10 foot 115VAC grounded cable with grounded plug is provided for connecting to house power. The output voltage can be adjusted from 19.4 to 27.4 Volts DC from the front panel control. A plastic guard protects user from voltages.

SL-TLC8F: The SL-TLC8F Throttle has a mini-terminal strip for connecting the SL-PS200-1-27F power supply. Cooling is provided by a voltage stabilized, auto speed ultra quite bushless ball bearing fan for reliable operation. The throttle employs an auto speed fan to cool the 15 amp output stage but is conservatively rated at 8.3 amps continuous output. This unit is both a table-top and a hand held throttle.

The picture above shows the tabletop configuration with input/output connectors on top. The connectors can be placed on the bottom in less than two minutes by removing the faceplate and rotating the case 180 degrees as shown below.

In this configuration the unit is ideal for a palm held or walk around throttle with the input/output connectors coming out the bottom.

Foward Reverse Switch and Emergency Stop: The throttle features a large forward/reverse switch and a quick response throttle. An exclusive emergency stop feature turns off all power output by simply pushing down on the throttle. Pulling the throttle out restores power.

Maximum Voltage Adjustment: The front panel voltage adjustment on the power supply (shown below) allows quick and easy setting of a maximum voltage output in the range of 25 to 16 volts pure DC. This is useful when running 18 volt lighting and/or smoke stacks or just to keep the your trains on the track. (track and train not included)

LGB 50160: An LGB 50160 Track Power Cable is included in the set to easily connect the throttle to your track.

0 to 25 volts at the track at 8.3 amps: This power supply and throttle is unique in providing a pure DC output at the track of zero to 25 volts DC (adjustable maximum voltage is easily set on the power supplly) at a full 8.3 amps continuously. Most power packs and throttles do NOT deliver even 24 volts at the track and very few offer pure DC power or even their rated output. Pure DC power is a requirment to protect your valuable train investment.
